We are available to make preliminary site visits with sales representatives to verify that the equipment will indeed work in the proposed locations. In addition, we can make recommendations and estimates to help the sales representative provide a budget for placement of the equipment under special circumstances.

Project Management:

Our experience encompasses the full scope of PET.  We can provide information on the functional layout of the system as well as daily standard operating procedures. For our engineers the project begins even before the initial site visit  and moves through every facet of the installation process to the point of handing the system off to applications personnel. Our support is always available for the end user before, during and after the installation. Our goal is to ensure a positive, comfortable and informative experience.

Facility Design:

We have more experience than anyone in designing PET centers to accommodate the installation of a wide range of medical systems. We can work on any scale from a plaza suite to a university diagnostic imaging center anywhere in the world.

Proposal Drawings:

Molecular Imaging Solutions can typically provide professional, custom, site-specific layout plans within 2-3 days of receiving the rough layout. This can be expedited if the layouts are sent to us in an AutoCAD compatible format.

Fiscal Projection:

Once a design has been determined, Molecular Imaging Solutions can provide a budget analysis including standard construction cost.

Turn Key Service:

Molecular Imaging Solutions has more experience than anyone in the Positron Emission Tomography (PET) industry. We can provide turn key design, construction and equipment purchasing for all ancillary items required to operate and maintain an imaging or distribution center.

Construction:

We have qualified, licensed contractors throughout the United States ready to work on projects ranging from small renovations to full-scale construction projects.

Ancillary Equipment:

Molecular Imaging Solutions has profound knowledge of the full spectrum of equipment needed for imaging and distribution centers. We can facilitate or recommend pharmacy and hot lab equipment required to maintain any type of center regardless of scale.

System Transportation:

Medical equipment has some of the strictest environmental specifications - not only for everyday use but also for transport. We use late model tractors, trailers, and straight trucks equipped with air ride suspension. All the trucks are climate-controlled and not only meet, but exceed the requirements for system transport. This is done to protect the highly sensitive components essential to the operation of the systems being transported.

Equipment Placement and Installation:

Our engineers are available to be on-site to oversee equipment placement and ensure that proper procedures are followed related to the safety of the persons and equipment involved. We schedule our projects at the right time of the day or night to best meet the requirements of your schedule. 

After system emplacement, we can provide installation including necessary handling of radioactive sources.  We adhere to OEM and national guidelines during the installation and final performance check prior to calibration.

Optional Equipment:

Each system is made to order according to end user needs including a myriad of optional items based on intended application. Our qualified staff is trained to install all optional equipment.

 

De-Install:

Molecular Imaging Solutions offers custom crating for the safe storage and shipment of your valuable medical imaging devices. Our trained engineers will ensure that your equipment is de-installed carefully and efficiently. We strive to complete the project with minimal disruption to your workplace. 

Secure, Climate-Controlled Storage:

We possess more than two acres of storage specifically designed for medical equipment. There is 24-hour security surveillance and 24-hour climate-control. In addition to the environmental considerations our facility provides forklifts capable of relocating in excess of 30,000 lbs., adjustable loading docks, and overhead cranes.

Custom Crating:

Molecular Imaging Solutions offers custom crating for the safe storage and shipment of your valuable medical imaging devices. All of our crates are stamped and certified to the highest standards so equipment can be shipped internationally as desired.

We can be your turn key solution for mobile imaging.  Molecular Imaging Solutions has the most comprehensive mobile service offering in the industry.  Our engineers have extensive experience working successfully within the unique challenges of a mobile environment.

Storage:

Molecular Imaging Solutions can store your mobile coach in a secure area equipped with 24 hour video surveillance. The Molecular Imaging Solutions facility in Knoxville, Tennessee has mobile coach pads equipped with Russel-Stoll electrical hook-ups.
