Our quality
personnel possess more experience with PET equipment than anyone
else in the medical field. We are available to make preliminary
site visits with sales representatives to verify that the
equipment will indeed work in the proposed locations. In
addition, we can make recommendations and estimates to help the
sales representative provide a budget for placement of the
equipment under special circumstances.
Project
Management:
Our experience
encompasses the full scope of PET, from providing information on
the functional layout of the system to daily industry standard
operating procedures. Starting with the initial site visit ,
through every facet of the installation process up to handing
the system off to applications personnel. Our support is always
available for the end user before, during, and after the
installation. Our goal is to ensure a positive, comfortable, and
informative experience.
Facility
Design:
We have more
experience than anyone in designing PET centers to accommodate
the installation of a wide range of medical systems. We can work
on any scale from a plaza suite to University diagnostic imaging
centers anywhere in the world.
Proposal
Drawings:
We can
provide professional custom site-specific preliminary layout
plans with a fast turnaround time, typically within 2-3 days of
receiving the rough layout. This can be expedited if the layouts
are sent to us in an AutoCAD compatible format.
Fiscal
Projection:
Once a design
has been determined, we can provide a budget analysis including
standard construction cost.

Turnkey:
MIS has more
experience than anyone in the PET industry. We can provide
turnkey design, construction, and equipment purchasing for all
ancillary items required to efficiently operate and maintain an
imaging or distribution center.
Construction:
We have
qualified, licensed contractors in different parts of the USA
ready to work on projects ranging from small renovations to
full-scale construction projects.
Ancillary
Equipment:
MIS has
profound knowledge of the full spectrum of equipment needed for
imaging and distribution centers. We can facilitate or recommend
pharmacy and hot lab equipment required to maintain any type of
center regardless of scale.

System
Transportation:
Medical
equipment has some of the strictest environmental specifications
not only for every day use but also for transport. We only use
late model tractors, trailers, and straight trucks equipped with
air ride suspension. Also all the trucks are climate-controlled
as to not only meet, but exceed the requirements for system
transport. This is all done to protect the highly sensitive
components essential to the operation of the systems being
transported.
Equipment
Placement:
We are always
available to be on-site to monitor equipment placement and
ensure that proper procedures are followed in the best interests
of the equipment and safety to all those involved. We are
available as needed anytime day, night, and weekends in an
effort to meet customer schedules.
Installation of Equipment:
After system
emplacement, we can provide installation including necessary
handling of radioactive sources. We ardently adhere to OEM and
national guidelines during the installation and final
performance check prior to calibration.

Optional
Equipment:
Each system
is a made to order according to end user needs including a
myriad of optional items based on intended application. Our
qualified staff is trained to install all optional equipment.
-Removal/Upgrade-
De-Install:
Over the
years we have acquired skills, knowledge, and experience above
the industry standard. Our trained engineers will ensure that
your equipment is de-installed with the greatest caution without
compromising haste. We keep your needs in mind as a customer and
make every effort to cause the least amount of disruption to
your working day, evening, or night. We retain the proper tools
to withdraw your equipment safely and efficiently, regardless of
location or special circumstances.
Secure
Climate-Controlled Storage:
We possess
more than 2 acres of storage specifically designed for medical
equipment. There is 24 hour security surveillance and 24 hour
climate-control. In addition to the environmental considerations
our facility provides forklifts capable of relocating in excess
of 30,000lbs, adjustable loading docks, and overhead cranes.
Custom
Crating:
At this time
we provide the factory crating for all the Siemens PET systems
produced in Knoxville, TN. Crates can be customized as you wish.
All of our crates are stamped and certified to the highest
standards so equipment can be shipped internationally as
desired.
