Molecular Imaging Solutions
(MIS) was founded in 2001 by its president Dan Kaman and
director of projects Ken Walker in an effort to provide
services to the field of diagnostic nuclear medicine. Since its
inception Dan and Ken have assembled and developed
a group of technical engineers that have become the pinnacle of
PET. MIS expertise includes every aspect of PET from planning,
implementation, and removal; as well as mobile PET up to and
including turnkey solutions. Our project management team is
unsurpassed in this field with its sempiternal knowledge base of
construction, shipping, rigging, and installation.
While PET
has been the quintessence of MIS since its genesis just as MIS
has been the same to PET we are not limited to PET. We have
extensive experience with CT, cyclotron, x-ray labs, vascular
and cath labs, as well as ECAT, ECAM, and PET/CT. No one else
can tender a comparable array of solutions to the diagnostic
medical community.
Our team
in the field has a uniquely diverse background consisting of comprehensive
experience in computer science,
construction project management, electronic and mechanical
engineering, chemical engineering, machining and
fabrication,
drafting, and
technical writing. Trying to circumscribe the versatility and
skills of this group would be a task by itself. These abilities
have been attained through degree programs, apprenticeships,
training, and of course many years of exposure to real world
situations solving real world enigmas.
As a team we work together to form a fluid group
that embraces the opportunities and challenges that can and will
arise during any project. While the qualifications of every
individual are distinct to their chosen field of study, we
cooperate in such as manner as to intensify our dynamic
expertise. The whole of this body is far greater than the sum of
its parts.
